    Feb 06,  · This album came as a dissillusion for the majority of the fans when it was released back in Production by Ernie C with "Cop Killer" sound in mind, rap by Ice-T in "Illusion of Power", members of the band didn't participated in the mixing process. Final result was questionable even for those who recorded the album/5(97).

    Otherwise, the overall sound of this album is a mix of 70s Sabbath, 80s metal/hard-rock, a bit of grunge (Soundgarden, Alice In Chains - which makes sense, as those bands were very Sabbath influenced!), but with Black Sabbath's signature slightly darker tone.     "Illusion of Power" is the weirdest song, with Martin dueting with Ice T on a song that sounds much more like Body Count than anything Sabbath-related. "Sick and Tired" is the only standout track; with its bluesy tempo and decent vocals, it sounds like Helloween performing a Cream song.
